~ Quote of the day ~

Raison d'tre
KeelyNet "This is the true joy in life: To being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one. To being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

KeelyNet I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die. For the harder I work, the more I live.

I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

    12/31/16 - Half here
KeelyNet Ten days, no updates, needed a break and there wasn't that much in the news worth shouting about anyway.

This past year has been 'trying' as I get used to being half blind.

I used to be a voracious reader with perfect vision, now with only a right eye functioning, I feel like I'm only half here.

Maybe, like Odin, I need a couple of ravens to bring me interesting news. No pain, just not as enjoyable as it used to be to read so much and pull out goodies.

Getting old is a bitch, every week wondering what else is going to happen. So I study rejuvenation legends and possible techniques. Have a new plan for 2017 to test out using me as the lab rat. Have tried thymus pills, high intensity magnetic fields, degaussing coils, Rife frequencies, no results that I can detect.

You might remember an old TV series that came from a movie called 'The Immortal'. I think we all have it within us to rejuvenate if we can keep from clogging ourselves up or somehow remove all the toxins and contaminants to reduce the load on the immune system.

Wave Genetics seems to offer the best hope as far as I can tell. The core basis of the treatment based on wave genetics is to expose you to the waves of encoded information. Professor Peter Garyaev uses biological quantum computers to transcribe your genetic information, the data contained in your DNA. Then, this information is encoded into sound waves and recorded on a DVD. You listen to this DVD once in a while, and when you do, it affects you it makes you immortal. The unique sound of your DNA will cure all of your diseases, will help you regenerate your organs and will help you avoid the process of getting older, the process of aging. We shall see (pun intended). - JWD @ - Half here

We proudly present the world first available free energy generator. The device IPP7.4 is an electricity generator, that delivers an output of 7350w 220V without using any fuel for its work. Typically it uses its own energy to work by itself. This is a completely new approach to the way in the production of electricity.

The device uses elements that are found in other devices on the market, that are used since the 40s and 50s, with some innovative additions in newer times. The device is in a locked box, protected and insulated from noise and rotating parts, with alarm system for our safety.

It is designed to work in a private homes and cottages or small workshops or independent objects. In the case of floods, the device automatically turns off and it has a circuit breaker (safety switch) in case of an overload or short circuit. The device continues work, as soon as the user reduces the number of electricity consumers. It is designed to work constantly 24/7, but it can be manually switched off and on again, as it has spare gel battery 48V / 36Ah.

It has a technical certificate that it is not harmful to humans and the environment. The user(buyer) have to sign an contract, to not open the device for a period of 5 years, which is the period of warranty aswell, that warranty can be extended for the next 5 years.

The standard IPP7.4 unit is for indoor use only The IPP7.4H comes with a hermetic box and is suitable for outdoor use. The weight of the standard IPP7.4 is about 95kgs. A model with an output of 380V (+ 220V) will be on sale around March 2017.

12/31/16 - Astronauts Are Returning To Earth With Altered Genes
Aside from the ever-present danger of exploding on launch or burning up upon reentry, spaceflight has been recently found to increase the risk of many cardiovascular diseases, and scientists dont know why. Furthermore, its long been known that time in space exposes astronauts to extremely high levels of radiation and can permanently affect astronauts vision.

Now, scientists have found even more worrisome news for would-be space travelers. In a study published in the journal npj Microgravity, researchers have found that spaceflight is causing permanent genomic alterations in astronauts who have spent time in orbit: Using an array comprised of 234 well-characterized stress-response genes, we profiled transcriptomic changes in six astronauts (four men and two women) from blood preserved before and immediately following the spaceflight.

Each of the astronauts in this study participated in space shuttle missions which lasted only between 10 and 13 days. The changes were found to occur in genes responsible for DNA repair, protein folding, and oxidative stress, which is thought to be involved in the development of cancer, Parkinsons disease, and Alzheimers disease.

While these genomic changes have been documented, scientists still do not understand the mechanism causing these changes: The molecular basis of spaceflight-induced responses remains unclear and may provide critical insights into health outcomes associated with space travel. - Astronauts Are Returning To Earth With Altered Genes

12/31/16 - Vampire therapy: Using your own blood as a treatment for various illnesses

The treatment, platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) also known as vampire therapy works by centrifuging blood and separating white blood cells and platelets from the red blood cells, so that the resulting platelet- and white blood cell-rich concentration can be re-injected into a specific injured area or applied topically to areas that need healing, such as acne-scarred skin. Experts say that what makes the platelets so effective in healing are the numerous growth factors they contain.

From The New York Times: In theory, the distilled growth factors (a protein or substance that helps stimulate growth) should speed healing and improve the tissues health, which has happened in the lab.

Athletes, including Tiger Woods and others, have used the treatment Woods had PRP therapy for a sore knee, New York Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty was treated for a hamstring injury and Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee underwent PRP therapy for an abdominal issue. Sports stars and celebrities popularize the use of PRP therapy - The use of PRP therapy by sports stars has led to a booming demand among weekend warriors, who, according to the Times, now clamor for P.R.P. to treat everything from tennis elbow to back pain, even though the procedure rarely is covered by insurance and can cost $1,000 a shot. Athletes arent the only celebrities calling attention to PRP therapy Kim Kardashians use of the so-called vampire facelift has given the procedure notoriety and a boost in sales for clinics offering the procedure.

PRP therapy is now being used to treat a number of conditions, including acne scars, arthritic knees, pulled muscles and tendons, sprains and baldness. There are even PRP treatments for sexual dysfunction in both males and females. PRP is also being touted as an anti-aging treatment.

From the Daily Mail: A study published last week found that transfusing older mice with the blood of younger ones could trigger the repair of the muscles and liver within 24 hours. Its thought to help by modifying substances in the older blood that seem to block cell regeneration.

Researchers in the field say that PRP therapy could be used in a gel form to help heal wounds, burns and ulcers. A similar gel could also be used to prevent tooth loss and help regrow bone after tooth implants. PRP gel may also prove useful in treating broken bones.

Does PRP therapy really work? - With all these reported benefits, it would seem that PRP treatment is one of the more promising emerging therapies but does it really work? A lot of the evidence in favor of PRP therapy is anecdotal in nature; there is a shortage of actual clinical trials involving its use. New studies are being published which suggest that PRP therapy may have little or no benefit at least in treating certain conditions. According to the Times, two recent studies one of which has yet to be published indicated that PRP therapy did nothing to improve suffering in patients with either tennis elbow or Achilles tendon injuries.

However, some experts believe that the treatment is better suited to other types of injuries. Acute wounds may benefit more from PRP therapy than overuse injuries, according to Robert-Jan de Vos, an Erasmus University researcher.

From The New York Times: There are fundamental differences between overuse injuries, such as tendinopathies, and acute wounds, like those created in animal experiments. In acute injuries, the body initiates a robust healing response, which, Dr. de Vos said, P.R.P. may intensify. But in overuse injuries, the healing process is often blunted, and P.R.P. seems unable to augment it much.

One thing everyone seems to agree on is that more study is warranted. PRP therapy seems to offer much, but its true efficacy has yet to be adequately confirmed by scientific research. - Vampire therapy: Using your own blood as a treatment for various illnesses

12/31/16 - Cotterell - How Gravity Works pdf
KeelyNet Wonderful paper that will really get you thinking. Offers explanations for many science mysteries, worth your time! - JWD

How the discoveries were made - Scientists cannot understand why the positive protons in the centre of atoms simply do not spring apart - their positive charges repelling each other. In 1935 a researcher named Yukawa suggested that another substance or particle must exist to 'glue' the protons together in the nucleus, a kind of atomic 'velcro'.

But an objector to Yukawa pointed out that if indeed that were the case then there would have to be two types of velcro - a velvet-side and a hook-side (so to speak).

But another researcher pointed out that protons covered in the velvet-side would not stick to other protons covered with the hook-side. So another researcher suggested that there must be three types of velcro.

But then another researcher pointed out that for such a scheme to work there would have to be three types of each of the three types. Thus, the crazy field of Particle Physics was born.

In the decades that followed Particle Phyics were granted billions of dollars to find out what made the atom stable. Since then they have been searching for more than 300 imaginary sub-atomic particles. The Concise (Oxford) Science Dictionary comments; "...the whole elaborate theory is circumstantial...none of the smaller particles have ever been identified in experiments...the theory does not claim to have been verified."

Cotterell shows that none of the particles actually exist and, more importantly, that none are necessary. To explain why the atom does not spring apart he returns to firm ground and to the the pioneering work of Ernest Rutherford and James Chadwick of the 1930s and shows that by simply changing the perceived shape of the electron and the neutron the gravitational mechanism is exposed, explaining away the mysteries of the atom and many of the cosmos.

From the video; This show explains how electricity and magnetism work together to produce the force of Gravity and in so doing reveals the underlying science behind Newton's equation that he tried in vain to uncover; the reason why Gravity is proportional to the masses of two attracting objects, why it grows weaker in proportion to the square of the distance between them, the nature of the mysterious 'Gravitational Constant'--that continues to perplex researchers to this day--and why all objects accelerate to Earth at 32 feet per second.

It explains why the atom is comprised of 8 orbital shells and why the shells fill with electrons the way that they do. It explains how permanent magnetism works at atomic level, the nature of so-called 'dark matter', the reason why spiral galaxies are spiral shaped, why the centre of the Earth is red-hot, and how the Earth's magnetic field is generated.

It explains how to generate gravity waves to produce unlimited quantities of free energy, and antigravity waves, to produce unlimited supplies of free hydrogen to power cars of the future. And it explains how antigravity waves can be used to cause the molecular disintegration of matter (phasor weapons).

It explains how the 28-day spinning Sun regulates fertility in females, how it determines human behaviour and personality (Astrology) and how it causes global-warming-and-global-cooling. Maurice Cotterell returns to the beginning of 'time' to explain how the Universe began and reveals the first ever pictures of God, and Jesus, decoded from the treasures of ancient sun-worshipping civilizations.

In 1989 engineer and scientist Maurice Cotterell found a way of calculating the duration of long-term magnetic reversals on the Sun. Using this knowledge he was able to break the codes of ancient sun-worshipping civilizations, first the Mayas of Central America, those of Tutankhamun of Egypt, and the Viracochas' of South America, before cracking the codes of the Terracotta Warriors of China and the European Celts. - Cotterell - How Gravity Works pdf

12/31/16 - Too much for them

The proud owner of a magnificent 1956 Chevrolet convertible, wrote to say he had restored the car to perfection over the last few years, and sent this:

On a very warm summer afternoon he decided to take his car to town. It needed gas, as the gauge was practically on empty, but he wanted ice cream, so he headed first to his favorite ice cream shop.

He had trouble finding a parking space and had to park the car down a side street. He noticed a group of young guys standing around smoking cigarettes and eyeing the car rather covetously. He was a bit uneasy leaving it there, but people often take interest in such an old and well-preserved car, so he went off to enjoy his ice cream.

The line at the ice cream shop was long and it took him quite a while to return to his car. When he did, his worst fears were realized his car was gone. He called the police and reported the theft and then went back and bought a quart of pistachio ice cream. About ten minutes later the police called him to say they had found the car abandoned near a gas station a few miles out of town.

It was unharmed and he was relieved. It seems just before he called, the police had received a call from a young woman who was an employee at a self-service gas station. She told them that three young men had driven in with this beautiful old convertible. One of them came to the window and prepaid for 20 dollars worth of gas.

Then all three of them walked around the car. Then they all got in the car and drove off, without filling the tank.

The question is, why would anybody steal a car, pay for gas that they never pumped and then abandon the car later and walk away?

They couldn't find where to put the gas! - Too much for them

12/31/16 - Isralift Giant Minto Wheel
Here is a giant version of the Wally Minto Wonderwheel.

Wally Minto's Wonder Wheel - "It's at least 85% effecient, never wears out, requires no fuel or maintenance, costs very little, and should have been invented 100 years ago." Four - used propane bottles were hose- clamped to the ends of two pieces of aluminum angle, each about four feet long. The angles crossed at 90 degrees at the center and were mounted on a central hub like a skinny four-blade windmill with bottles to swing in the breeze. Each bottle was connected to its mate on the opposite end of the angle with steel brake-line tubing. Under the rig's support was a tank of the type used to locate leaks in an inner tube.

While I gazed in disbelief, Wally explained how his incredible power wheel works (see diagram below - text is included at the end of this file). A few weeks later I again visited the Kinetics Lab. By then the propane bottles had evolved into 12 containers of steel pipe welded into a polygon. The principle remained the same. I watched as Wally opened the valve to let in a trickle of water from solar panels on the roof of his parking shed. The water temperature was 155 degrees F.

Almost imperceptibly, the wheel started to turn. The speed picked up a bit and I timed a revolution -- about one rpm. Minto noted my misgivings. "Try holding onto the shaft," he said. I grabbed the shaft firmly -- it was if I'd tried to stop some eerie, irresistible force: no sound, no evidence of power, just pure twist. "Picture one 200 feet in diameter," he said. This time my mind boggled. Such a rig might hoist the pyramids.

Wally doesn't expect industrialized nations to scramble for his wheel, and he isn't selling anything. He's donating it as a "gift to the world" and expects it will be used in underdeveloped, energy short areas. For example, a practical 33 ft. diameter wheel running on a temperature difference of as little as 3.5 degrees F and producing several horsepower could pump irrigation water, grind grain, or saw wood. The materials could be scrap pipe, and no machining or skills are needed to build it. Several low-boiling materials might be used, but propane or R-12 may be best.

Minto estimates a slightly larger (40 ft.) wheel with 14 pairs of one-ft. by 4.5 ft. containers would provide 10,240 ft/lb of work per container as each 269 lb. of liquid responds to gravity through a 20 ft level arm. At only one rpm this is 8.69 hp; not spectacular, but low cost and capable of running steadily for generations. The slow rotational speed can be stepped up to whatever is needed, just as with the old-time waterwheels. No fuel would be needed in many cases. The temperature difference required between the liquid on the bottom and the top occurs naturally in many situations: water and air, light and shade, etc.

Details for the Minto Wonder Wheel - This file was shared with KeelyNet courtesy of Bruce Hegerberg from a booklet Minto was giving away many years ago to get people excited and building his machines. Bruce transcribed and scanned it to a floppy which I misplaced. I finally found it so that it could be posted, enjoy and thank Bruce if you see him. - Isralift Giant Minto Wheel

    12/20/16 - Scientific American Column: 'It's Not Cold Fusion...But It's Something'
Scientific American magazine has published a guest column on low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR) [putting] into context the history of what was mistakenly referred to as cold fusion and what happened. The bottom line is that there is compelling cumulative evidence for nuclear reactions taking place, including shifts in the abundance of isotopes, element transmutations, and localized melting of metals.

Furthermore, those reactions do not have the characteristics of either nuclear fission or nuclear fusion. Despite sharp criticism from much of the scientific community after the 1989 announcement by Fleischmann and Pons, the Department of the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center and other reputable organizations continued the research and published many papers.

The article reports that "to the surprise of many people, a new field of nuclear research has emerged," adding that even in the early 20th century, atomic scientists were already reporting "inexplicable experimental evidence of elemental transmutations." - Scientific American Column: 'It's Not Cold Fusion...But It's Something'

    12/20/16 - Uber: We Don't Need a Permit For Self-Driving Cars
Uber has a simple approach to business: Don't ask for permission, but be prepared to seek forgiveness. Its foray into self-driving cars in California is no different. From a report on CNET:

Now, the DMV told Uber to cut it out... or else. "It is illegal for the company to operate its self-driving vehicles on public roads until it receives an autonomous vehicle testing permit," the DMV wrote in a letter to Uber on Wednesday. "Any action by Uber to continue the operation of vehicles equipped with autonomous technology on public streets in California must cease." [...] The DMV warned Uber a month ago that it needed a permit to operate self-driving cars in the state, according to Brian Soublet, the department's chief legal counsel, who held a conference call with reporters on Wednesday.

Soublet said he told the company the same thing Tuesday before its launch. But Uber didn't appear to listen. "We understand that there is a debate over whether or not we need a testing permit to launch self-driving Ubers in San Francisco," Anthony Levandowski, Uber's vice president of self-driving technology, wrote in a blog post Wednesday. "We have looked at this issue carefully and we don't believe we do." - Uber: We Don't Need a Permit For Self-Driving Cars

12/20/16 - Catalysts create "instant steam"
The UK company Oxford Catalysts is developing catalysts to attack these problems from four different angles. Three involve the development of novel base-metal catalysts designed to promote cleaner hydrocarbon-based processes. The fourth relies on the use of a precious-metal-based catalyst to produce high temperature steam, instantly and without the need for a conventional boiler.

The company's base metal catalysts focus on three main applications: hydrodesulphurisation (HDS), the Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reaction, and steam reforming. All of these processes have environmental benefits. HDS is important for producing cleaner hydrocarbon-based fuels. FT is used to produce liquid fuels from coal (coal to liquid or CTL), gas (GTL), or biomass (BTL). BTL can produce second-generation biofuels, and GTL can be used to produce transport fuels from stranded gas located far from markets, or from gas that is normally flared on oil production platforms.

"The market for FT and HDS catalysts is immense," says Derek Atkinson, business development director for FT and HDS at Oxford Catalysts. "HDS is already a billion-dollar market and growing. The potential market in 2020 for FT catalysts, should all biofuels be made via this route, is around $4 bn/annum."

The company's big developments in the HDS and FT areas are based around a new patented catalyst preparation method to produce catalysts that not only perform better than existing catalysts, but also reduce or in some cases eliminate the requirement for expensive and increasingly scarce precious metal promoters. "This," says Atkinson, "not only saves resources. It also leads to big savings for users."

Steam reforming, the third application of Oxford Catalysts base metal catalysts, can be used to derive products such as hydrogen and methanol or other alcohols from hydrocarbons. The business is currently working with the US-based renewable fuels production company Novus Energy on a steam reforming process for turning agricultural wastes such as corn stover, potato waste and pig manure, or biogas drawn from landfills, into alcohols for use in the production of second generation biofuels. Oxford Catalysts is also working, with support from the UKs Carbon Trust, on a steam reforming process to produce hydrogen from hydrocarbons to power fuel cells.

And so to the last application. Oxford Catalysts' instant steam technology represents a new approach to power generation. The precious-metal-based instant steam catalyst enables an exothermic (heat-releasing) chemical reaction between methanol and hydrogen peroxide to provide a portable source of high temperature steam. The reaction, which runs at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, takes just 1-2 seconds to produce steam and generates no waste solids or harmful emissions such as NOx, SOx or particulates. The methanol used in the fuel could potentially be made from sustainable sources.

"Instant steam is not designed to generate the vast quantities of steam used in industry," explains Dave Wardle, business development director for instant steam at Oxford Catalysts. "These are normally produced using waste heat or co-generation and require a substantial capital investment. Instead the instant steam catalyst makes it possible to generate superheated steam instantly and safely using compact and portable equipment at low cost and in places where power is not readily available."

A reactor just 2 cm high is capable of producing 70 litres of 650C steam per minute. "This," says Wardle, "removes the barrier that steam is too big, heavy and slow and could open the door to a wide range of very interesting sustainable technologies."

These range from environmentally-friendly, fast, lightweight steam-powered cars that start at the turn of a key and produce mainly water as a by-product, to small steam turbine generators to provide an economical alternative to engine-based systems or lead acid batteries for backup power. The company is also working with partners to explore applications including steam-powered rockets, hospital steam cleaning systems to combat super bugs, and active packaging, in which steam is used to heat detergents to increase their effectiveness.

"The instant steam design is very versatile and can be implemented to fit both small and large scale applications," says Wardle. "We're always on the look-out for new ideas for uses." - Catalysts create "instant steam"

    12/20/16 - Russell Optic Dynamo-Generator
In the fall of 1959, General Chapman, Colonel Fry, Major Sargent, Major Cripe, and others from NORAD in Colorado Springs, attended a meeting at Swannanoa, Virginia (University of Science and Philosophy) at the invitation of Walter Russell. At this meeting Russell explained the workings of a device he proposed to build to take advantage of the vacuum state energy, and the two directional movement of energy from gravitation, (generation), to radiation, (degeneration).

During the following year Russell, his wife, Lao, and their assistants built the device. The prototype that was built consisted of two sets of dual and magnetically-sexed coils. On September 10, 1961, Walter and Lao Russell reported to their contacts at NORAD, that the coils had worked and that the President of the United States could announce to the world that a "greater, safer power than atomic energy" could be provided for industry and transportation.

After giving the device over to the U.S. Government, Dr. Russell refolded a year and a half later on May 19, 1963. The Russell Optic Dynamo-Generator was never released to the public.

"We have proven the validity of our concept by making a simple small scale working model which is now supplying all the heat, light and power needed for our four story 52 room University. Our reactor generates much more power than needed for whatever purpose intended, so enough of that surplus is taken off from its generator to motivate the reactor in perpetuity.

Nuclear reactors need whole buildings for operation while ours occupies no more space than a furnace or oil heating plant to house its reactor, its steam-turbine and its generator. The nuclear reactor must be prevented from harming humans by building great concrete walls around it, while ours is perfectly harmless and occupies so little space that the one which operates at our headquarters occupies hardly more than six cubic feet, has no moving parts, and weighs not more than four hundred pounds, exclusive of its small steam turbine and generator.

It is needless to say that such a simple, mobile, light and power producing machine would not only effect the whole world-economy, but would be the first step in bringing abundance of the necessities for human existence to every nation on the face of this earth." - Walter and Lao Russell - Russell Optic Dynamo-Generator

12/20/16 - EPA Finally Concludes Fracking Pollutes Drinking Water
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) confirmed on Tuesday that hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, contaminates drinking waterbut claimed a lack of information makes it impossible to determine how widespread the risks are.

In a final report issued Tuesday, Hydraulic Fracturing for Oil and Gas: Impacts from the Hydraulic Fracturing Water Cycle on Drinking Water Resources, the EPA removed a finding included in a 2015 draft which indicated that fracking did not cause "widespread, systemic" harm. Fossil fuel industry lobbyists had praised that version of the draftwhich also received misleading media coverageclaiming it vindicated the controversial drilling method that involves shooting chemical-laden water into shale rock at high pressure to release the gas trapped underneath.

And although Tuesday's report stops short of making declarative statements about the severity or frequency of the impacts of fracking, environmental advocates say the confirmation that it contaminates water is enough. Green groups had accused the White House of inserting the now-removed clause, noting that President Barack Obama supports fracking as part of his "all of the above" energy policies.

The EPA's own Science Advisory Board in August demanded a revision of the 2015 report, stating it was "lacking in several critical areas." "The EPA has confirmed what we've known all along: fracking can and does contaminate drinking water. We are pleased that the agency has acted on the recommendations of its Science Advisory Board and chosen be frank about the inherent harms and hazards of fracking," said Wenonah Hauter, executive director of the environmental group Food & Water Watch. "Today the Obama administration has rightly prioritized facts and science, and put public health and environmental protection over the profit-driven interests of the oil and gas industry."

Actor and activist Mark Ruffalo, who is on the advisory board of the American Against Fracking coalition, also said, "At last the EPA confirms what independent science has overwhelmingly determined for years, that drilling and fracking contaminate drinking water. Across the country, Americans have had their lives turned upside down as fracking has poisoned the water coming out of their faucets and has made their families sick. Now all of our federal and state elected officials need to take action to protect Americans by banning fracking. Water is life."

Evidence that fracking contaminates water has been circulating for years, particularly in shale-heavy states like Pennsylvania. The Pittsburgh-based independent outlet Public Herald found evidence of water contamination in 2,309 citizen complaints from 17 of 40 shale counties in the state.

Rachel Richardson, director of Environment America's Stop Drilling Program, said Tuesday, "EPA's report confirms what experts and the science show: that fracking operations put our drinking water at risk. That families from Colorado to Pennsylvania have had their water contaminated from fracking should be evidence enough, but today's report confirms: fracking puts our water at risk." - EPA Finally Concludes Fracking Pollutes Drinking Water

But when everybody thought the country had lost the drug addiction fight, in 2001, the Portuguese government did something that other governments in Europe and the United States would never have considered. It decriminalized all hard drug-related offences. The new law the government promulgated was that if someone is found in the possession of any hard drug, ranging from marijuana to heroin, the person is sent to a three-person Commission called the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction (DDA). The DDA is made up of a lawyer, a doctor and a social worker. The commission recommends treatment or a minor fine. In most cases, the person is sent off without any penalty, but only if the commission thinks there is enough evidence to show that the person regretted their actions and wont use these drugs again.

Today, Portugals alternative methods to fight its drug problem are paying off. According to a study published by Transfer Drug Policy Foundation a United Kingdom think-tank that advocates drug decriminalization drug overdose, which killed many people in the past in Portugal, has dropped significantly.

The Open Foundation Society has also revealed in a report that Portugals drug treatment programme has prevented first-time drug use and delaying the age of drug use. According to the report, drug use among 15 to 19-year-olds, a group most often the target of anti-drug campaigns, has decreased.

In general, the number of people indicating to have been using drugs as of November 2016 has declined compared with 2001 figures, with an average opioid addiction of 0.5%. Although the country has not completely eliminated drug abuse in the country, the treatment programme has proved a huge success. - Portugal Treats Drug Addicts As Patients, Not As Criminals, Records Massive Success in just 15 Years

Billionaire philanthropist and investor Bill Gates is launching a $1 billion fund, called Breakthrough Energy Ventures, to invest in new forms of clean energy. Gates has gathered a group of like-minded investors, including Silicon Valley venture capitalists John Doerr and Vinod Khosla and former hedge manager John Arnold, to join him in the fund.

In a post on his Gates Notes blog, Gates said the fund will invest in scientific breakthroughs that have the potential to deliver cheap and reliable clean energy to the world.

We need affordable and reliable energy that doesnt emit greenhouse gas to power the futureand to get it, we need a different model for investing in good ideas and moving them from the lab to the market, Gates said in his post.

The announcement of the fund comes a year after the United Nations climate change talks in Paris, where Gates unveiled the Breakthrough Energy Coalition a group of some 20 billionaire business leaders from around the world, plus institutional investors, who committed to investing in new forms of energy. The coalition partnered with Mission Innovation, a group of 20 countries and the European Uni0n that pledged to double their investment in clean energy research over five years. 12/15/16 - Regulation Nation: Where Independence Is Illegal without a Permit

These days, you need permission from the government to do just about anything, including feeding yourself or others.

Do you own a car? Every year, you must go down to the DMV and pay the government for permission to drive it.

Do you own a business? You must register it and pay an annual fee to operate it.

Do you want to renovate your home? You must pay the government to come and tell you if youre allowed to, how you are allowed to, and to check it afterward to make sure you complied with all of their rules.

Do you want to swap your homemade goodies for someone elses homemade goodies? Youre supposed to get permission from the government to do it, and theyd also like you to pay them taxes on the transaction.

Do you want to educate your children at home? In some states, you have to pay for permission to do that. You still have to pay taxes to support your local school, mind you, but youll need a permit on top of it.

Do you want to hunt or fish to supplement your food budget? Youre supposed to go get a license to do that, too.

Do you want to go off the grid? If youre even allowed to, youll have to get a permit and an inspection.

The government is aware of their own pending obsolescence and thats why theyre so desperate to regulate every darned thing. Oh and the money they make a ton of money from forcing you to purchase permission to live your life. Every time someone pops up and does something independently, the government says, Oh, no. All things must come from us, your benefactors.

The government is obsolete. By mandating helplessness, the government seems to want to instill in us a belief that we cant get by without them. Why? Because theyre quickly becoming obsolete.

People are weary of the countless laws, so numerous that we all break them every time we set foot outside our doors. The most innocuous things have come under fire as people struggle to survive and dare to do so independently:

Artisanal soap makers who use luscious ingredients like goats milk, cocoa butter, and essential oils are being regulated out of business by Congress. (source)

The FDA has declared hand-sewn menstrual cloths to be medical devices and subject to $4000 per year in fees, putting another cottage industry out of business. (source)

People are charged as criminals and fined for growing food in their own yards because *gasp* people can see vegetables instead of grass. (source)

During the terrible flooding in Louisiana earlier this year, when the government rescue operation was slow to respond, a bunch of local outdoorsmen began to save their neighbors from the rising waters. The government demanded they get permits to save their neighbors and blockaded the area with police barriers. Thats right they used their resources to stop the rescues instead of using their resources to perform rescues. (source)

A lady in the Philadelphia area faced a fine of $600 per day for feeding hungry kids (that usually depend on low-cost or free lunches at school) lunch during the summer. If she didnt want to pay a fine, she had to pay a fee of $1000 and be subject to government inspections and regulations. (source)

A woman in California faces jail time for making homemade ceviche and selling it through a Facebook group. They actually used law enforcement resources to go to her house undercover and buy her soup and arrest her. (source)

Give me a break. There is one thing at play here. Control!

Independence must be squelched. We must get permission to feed ourselves or others, make a living without a typical job, and help our neighbors. We have to pay money to get a license to hunt or fish. We have to pay yearly extortion fees to drive our own cars. We cant sell eggs from our chickens without permission in some states, and to do so legally, must attend a course and pay a fee to get an egg handlers license.

To barter, we have to conduct our business like a bunch of drug dealers. If I want to swap my home-raised chickens for someone elses home-raised lamb, heaven forbid that the government should find out. Theyd tax us, inspect us, fine us, and maybe even arrest us.

In places where you arent allowed to have or carry a firearm, youre at the mercy of criminals and the wait time from calling 911. One must jump through a ridiculous number of hoops to get a concealed carry permit to be able to protect oneself instead of waiting helplessly for the cops to show up. If only I were making this up.

Heres why. If we dont need their handouts, their jobs, their food, and their social assistance, its a whole lot harder for them to force us to do things against our will. When you dont need anything the government has to offer, you have the type of freedom upon which our nation was founded. It was called the Declaration of Independence for a reason, but many Americans have lost that revolutionary spirit. They just stand by and accept unreasonable and unjust laws. They shrug and say that theres nothing they can do. And now, these unjust laws are preventing us from helping those who are struggling.

Personally, I have no intention whatsoever of following an unjust law. If I see that someone is hungry, Ill feed them. If theyre cold, Ill clothe them. I will grow my own food, drink from a well, and trade goods with my friends. If I can help another human being, Ill do it, and the government be damned.

KeelyNet We don't need full time congress and senate with nothing to do 24/7 than to dream up new laws and regulations to clot up the system. Give them one month per year to take care of business.

How many laws does a country actually need to run successfully?

Instead we have these old goats feeding at the trough all their lives without term limits as career politicians. We don't hold them accountable so it is to their benefit to drag their feet in doing their jobs, the longer they can stretch it out, the more problems they can add, the longer they will have a job.

Trump needs to change this, 4 years per term period and that includes president. We need fresh minds ALWAYS to prevent the corrosion from good old boy networks. - JWD - Regulation Nation: Where Independence Is Illegal without a Permit

12/15/16 - Would Toyota Shift to Electric Cars Mean Death to Fuel Cells?
Long Range Battery powered Electric cars OR Hydrogen powered Fuel Cells to make its power - The official Toyota position on green cars was stunningly consistent. Aside from the iconic Prius, the automaker bet heavily on fuel cell vehicles as the brands zero-emissions model of the future despite fool cell taunts from a man named Musk. It was a hard line against battery electric vehicles, but the Japanese auto titan stuck to it. According to a report from Japan, Toyotas script may soon flip with the arrival of a mass-market EV, and it could be the beginning of the end for fuel cells.

This remarkable twist, reported by Japanese newspaper Nikkei (via Reuters), had Toyota assembling a team early next year with the express mission of developing a long-range EV. Without naming sources, the Nikkei report went on to say the electric model would arrive at the end of this decade. Contacted by Reuters, Toyota maintained it was testing every efficient technology with the future in mind.

While this story lacks specific sources, you can see logic behind such a shift in the game plan. For starters, regulations in the U.S. and China may very well increase in the coming years. The situation could make the automaker vulnerable in the worlds top markets. Moving forward, the circumstances could force Toyota to step back from fuel cells and focus on technology that already exists. At least in the U.S. market, the big infrastructure plans involve EV chargers, not hydrogen stations. - Would Toyota Shift to Electric Cars Mean Death to Fuel Cells?

12/15/16 - Behold The Effects Of A Minimum Wage Rise - Taxes Go Up
Yes, we all know about those demands of the Fight for $15. $15 an hour for all work plus a union. We also all need to consider the effects of our implementing such a demand--one of which is that taxes will go up. Which is an interesting thought really.

For it's easy enough to think that sure, those people over there should get more money. And it's especially easy if we all think that it's them, they, the capitalists, the rich people, who will have less money after those higher wages are paid. It might well be rather different as people realise that it will be their own pockets that get picked to pay these higher incomes. But that will, inevitably, be a part of what happens.

The national living wage, announced by chancellor George Osborne in his post-election budget in July 2015, was marketed as a way to give Britain a pay rise. But the private and not-for-profit companies who run care homes and homecare services say that they do not get enough money to pay their staff at this level. This new initiative will have a serious impact on the care sector if it is not funded properly and we will see many services close, says Professor Martin Green, chief executive of Care England, which represents independent care providers.

The minimum wage--either tax rises or cuts in social care. How does that demand for $15 and a union look now? - Behold The Effects Of A Minimum Wage Rise - Taxes Go Up

12/15/16 - Cash Is No Longer King: The Phasing Out of Physical Money Has Begun
KeelyNet Money without physical backing is FIAT Money. Meaning the government SAYS it has value so as long as people trust and have confidence in the government, fiat money has 'value.' fiat money - fiat money inconvertible paper money made legal tender by a government decree. When it goes digital, how can we prove value? Trust in the privately owned FED who print money at will?

Translate fiat money to As physical currency around the world is increasingly phased out, the era where cash is king seems to be coming to an end. Countries like India and South Korea have chosen to limit access to physical money by law, and others are beginning to test digital blockchains for their central banks.

The war on cash isnt going to be waged overnight, and showdowns will continue in any country where citizens turn to alternatives like precious metals or decentralized cryptocurrencies. Although this transition may feel like a natural progression into the digital age, the real motivation to go cashless is downright sinister.

For those who appreciate more tangible wealth, diversifying into hard assets like gold and silver is a great first step. Its not about becoming a millionaire or getting rich quickly, but rather, using precious metals as vehicles for investment in the long-term. Regardless of what events unfold over the decades to come, the wealth preserved in physical form is more secure than any other asset. Forty years ago it was possible to save your money in the bank and accumulate interest over time, but that opportunity no longer exists. Those who fail to adapt to this new financial twilight zone will likely find themselves living as slaves to debt for years.

Control and confidence are two of the most important things in the system we live in. Once these digital spider webs have been put into place, the ability for an individual to maintain privacy or anonymity will all but disappear. Only through understanding the subversive actions being taken can people protect themselves from having to put their future in someone elses hands. The cash that allows free transactions without tax burdens or state scrutiny wont be around much longer. There will be many rationalizations for a cashless society in the years to come, but without fixing this broken financial system first, this will only ensure that despotism gains an even sturdier foothold. - Cash Is No Longer King: The Phasing Out of Physical Money Has Begun

12/15/16 - I feel young again: Why a woman injects her ovaries with blood
KeelyNet Sarah started experiencing symptoms of the menopause five years ago, when she was 38, more than a decade earlier than the average woman. "I felt so young," she says.

Her mother also went through the menopause early, at 40, so Sarah went straight to a fertility clinic. "The doctor told me to freeze my eggs," she says. "He said I was running out."

In the time since, Sarah has experienced a disrupted menstrual cycle, hot flushes and a low libido. But she isn't ready to go through the menopause yet, she says.

An online search directed her to a potential solution: Hugh Melnick's fertility clinic in New York, which offers "ovarian rejuvenation" treatment. Sarah had her first treatment at 41."I go in, they take my blood and spin it," she says. "After about 15 or 20 minutes, they put me under anesthesia and inject the blood into my ovaries. The whole procedure takes about 10 to 15 minutes - its not long at all."

After some cramping immediately after the injection, Sarah says she starts to see a difference within about a month or two. "A lot of hassles go away," she says. "I sleep better at night, my libido is higher, my periods go back to normal - I just feel young again." Sarah hopes to be able to conceive naturally in the next year, but has a few eggs on ice, too.

Sara is aware that the procedure, which costs her $2500, is experimental, and hasn't been put through clinical trials. But she says it works for her, at least temporarily. She had a second injection last year and is planning to have another this week.

"It's wonderful for people like me who have gone through early menopause," she says. But when it comes to scientific evidence and full clinical trials, the jury is still out.

Note this shaking of the blood is called 'succussion' in homeopathy and is the process which mixes very tiny amounts of active ingredient with very large amounts of water or alcohol on the order of 1:10 up to 1:50 (10,000 to 50,000). The idea being some mysterious amplification of power in the homeopathic dilution.

It is also worth noting how athletes use 'blood doping' - such as 'Blood Transfusions which can be traditionally classi?ed as autologous, where the blood donor and transfusion recipient are the same, or as allogeneic/homologous, where the blood is transfused into someone other than the donor. Blood transfusion begins by the withdrawal of 1 to 4 units of blood (1 unit = 450 ml of blood) several weeks before competition. The blood is centrifuged, the plasma components are immediately reinfused, and the corpuscular elements, principally red blood cells (RBCs), are stored refrigerated at 4?C or frozen at ?80?C.[8] As blood stored by refrigeration displays a steady decline in the number of RBCs, a substantial percentage, up to 40%, of the stored RBCs may not be viable.[9] The freezing process, conversely, limits the aging of the cells, allowing the storage of the blood for up to 10 years with a 10% to 15% loss of RBCs.[10] Stored RBCs are then reinfused, usually 1 to 7 days before a high-endurance event. As a signi?cant amount of iron is removed by each autologous transfusion, an adequate time for recovery of not less than 3 days from the last donation, and appropriate iron supplements, are usually required for patients undergoing autologous donations. Nearly 50% of autologous donations are not used by the donor and are discarded, as current standards do not allow transfusion of these units to another patient for safety reasons.

Adverse effects - The simple act of increasing the number of red blood cells in blood may be associated with hyperviscosity syndrome which is characterized by increased blood viscosity and decreased cardiac output and blood flow velocity which results in the reduction of peripheral oxygen delivery.[49] For instance, an overdose of EPO can thicken blood into a highly viscous and artery-clogging sludge. This increases the chances of heart attack, stroke, phlebitis, and pulmonary embolism, which has been seen in cases where there is too much blood reintroduced into the blood stream. Because blood doping increases the volume of red blood cells, it effectively introduces a condition called polycythemia, a blood disorder that has known adverse outcomes such as heart attacks or strokes.

Blood contamination during preparation or storage is another issue. Contamination was seen in 1 in every 500,000 transfusions of red blood cells in 2002.[50] Blood contamination can lead to septicemia or an infection that affects the whole body. Certain medications used to increase red blood cells can reduce liver function and lead to liver failure, pituitary problems, and increases in cholesterol levels.[51] - I feel young again: Why a woman injects her ovaries with blood

12/10/16 - Quantum tunneling across the Zero Point Field
KeelyNet Quantum tunneling is a micro and nanoscopic phenomenon in which a particle violates principles of classical mechanics by penetrating or passing through a potential barrier or impedance higher than the kinetic energy of the particle. A barrier, in terms of quantum tunneling, may be a form of energy state analogous to a "hill" or incline in classical mechanics, which would suggest that passage through or over such a barrier would be impossible without sufficient energy. However, because of differences in terms of scale and interaction between quantum and classical mechanics, practical applications of the latter would be inaccurate.

On the quantum scale, objects exhibit wave-like behavior; in quantum theory, quanta moving against a potential energy "hill" can be described by their wave-function, which represents the probability of finding that particle in a certain location at either side of the "hill". If this function describes the particle as being on the other side of the "hill", then there is the probability that it has moved through, rather than over it, and has thus "tunneled".

To achieve a state of non-local awareness one has to find the internal 'on switch' that enables remote viewing. This was all understood 2,500 years ago. Patanjali (a Hindu sage), a hundred years before Christ, wrote that in order to see into the distance and see into the future you have to quiet the ripples in your brain waves. He said you could then see into the distance, see into the future, heal the sick, and diagnose illnesses; all of which are being done presently.

The teaching of remote viewing is principally giving people permission to do it. Society says its nonsense, there is no such thing. What the remote viewing teacher has to do is use his conviction to convince a person to suspend their disbelief, quiet their mind, and describe their mental impressions of whatever the remote viewing teacher is offering as a hidden target. People quickly learn to separate out their mental noise -- the memory, imagination and analysis -- from the information thats surprising and unfamiliar looking in order to do remote viewing. People can learn to do this in an afternoon. And after that its all practice. Learning to do remote viewing is like riding a unicycle. It doesnt make sense, and then someone will spend an hour with you and then off you go. It goes from impossible to easy.

Stated succinctly and unambiguously..."quantum tunneling across the zero-point field, which results in non-local awareness" refers to what is commonly known as an out-of-body-experience. - Quantum tunneling across the Zero Point Field

NAFTA, GATT and all the other "free" trade agreements and treaties have gutted what made America the most prosperous nation on earth. I know time is in short supply, but please bookmark and read this column I wrote in January 2014. Very critical we try to educate our fellow Americans about how America built a nation like no other and her industries while protecting them.

"Our nation is arcing towards decline on several fronts involving deficits. Large deficit spending by the government that involves either printing money or borrowing abroad cannot be sustained. However, just as vital is the drain our trade deficit puts on the economy. Both are more intertwined than many realize. Simply put, the less we make in our nation, the more the government must borrow to try to sustain spending. The trade deficit leads to national insolvency.

"Yet, the opposite is true, too: the MORE we make in our nation, the less the government has to borrow. When we buy more of what our people make, we put them to work without the government needing to spend on a stimulus plan. Those folks get off of welfare (less government spending), start paying taxes (reducing the budget deficit) and have the opportunity to at least have a shot at what it is supposed to mean to be American.

"Even a small move would make a tremendous difference. If, for instance, 10% of our people would shift one or two purchases a month to Made in USA, it would create hundreds of thousands of jobs! However, if we took it to the next level, we would really heal this great nation and stop the decline!"

"For example, if a factory that employs 10,000 Americans moves to Asia, we're not just putting Americans out of work. We're also losing all the taxes those employees would have paid, those the workers at their suppliers would have paid, and so on. That web of economic activity not only disappears, but so do the tax revenues that would have been collected!

"Thus, the more that is Made in USA, the more tax revenue the government collects. Indeed, the correlation between the rise of the budget deficit (excluding Social Security transfers) and the trade deficit since 1970 is very tight. We not only vote USA when we purchase Made in USA, we add tax revenue to the government without raising taxes!"

Remember: If we all make the commitment to buy just 5% more Made in America products we CAN create one million jobs for OUR people.

The problem is the government SPENDS TOO MUCH OF OUR MONEY! Wasting much of it, especially with military and bad accounting. Our taxes could be 5% if we get control of spending, abolish the FED and return control of money to the US Mint. - JWD - Trump Says He Needs Our Help - Here's How

12/10/16 - Carrier Union President: Trump 'Lied His A** Off'
"Trump and [Mike] Pence, they pulled a dog and pony show on the numbers," said Chuck Jones, president of the United Steelworkers 1999, which represents Carrier employees, the Washington Post reported. "I almost threw up in my mouth."

Trump last week claimed he talked Carrier into keeping 1,100 jobs in Indianapolis, but that number turned out to actually be 800 because Trump and Carrier counted 300 jobs not initially at risk of being shipped overseas. Trump offered the furnace and air conditioning manufacturer financial incentives to save from jobs being shipped to Mexico, a move that would have saved Carrier about $65 million a year.

Jones said he was at first optimistic about the notion of Trump interjecting to help and thought he would explain to workers Dec. 1 that 550 of those jobs would not be saved. "But he got up there," Jones said, "and, for whatever reason, lied his ass off." - Carrier Union President: Trump 'Lied His A** Off'

    12/10/16 - R.I.P. - Joseph Newman New Movie
Joseph Westley Newman - Joseph Westley Newman (July 2, 1936 March 6, 2015) was an American inventor and author who claimed to have developed a perpetual motion machine. This device greatly influenced the "free energy movement" in America from the late nineteen seventies until his death in 2015.[citation needed] He described this device in a book, The Energy Machine of Joseph Newman. Newman alleged that he had a mechanical explanation for Albert Einstein's unified field theory of physics. After applying for patents on the perpetual motion motor, he battled for over seven years against what he claimed was a government conspiracy to suppress his supposed discoveries.[2] As a result of this, he gained national attention.[3][4]=

Joseph Newman is one of the pioneers of the free energy movement. He is a controversial character that has pushed the free energy concept to mainstream more than most.

Some of my associates new him personally and have even replicated his work to various degrees and admit that his technology works. Last year, Jospeh Newman passed away from heart failure, but before that, fortunately, a full length movie about his life story was finished that details his introduction to free energy concepts, his fights and struggle and rise to fame and then the collapse at the end of his life.

Film description: Joseph Newman, the legendary asocial backwoods inventor, happens onto a brilliant discovery that ends the need for oil, gas and nuclear dependency as we know it, but he spends most of his life fighting conspiracy and Washington DC for a patent. - R.I.P. - Joseph Newman New Movie

12/10/16 - Atlas the Life-Sized Robot Just Became a Bit More Human
Most robots would need flat surfaces to traverse. This control algorithm, developed at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) for the Atlas robot from Boston Dynamics, mimics a human-like line of thinking of deliberating carefully before making a step. Atlas balances itself before stepping onto an uneven foothold.

Our humanoid projects are focused on enabling our bipedal humanoids [to] handle rough terrain without requiring onboard sensors to build a model of the terrain, said the developers from IHMC. Our goal is to tackle increasingly more difficult walking challenges. - Atlas the Life-Sized Robot Just Became a Bit More Human

12/10/16 - Illegal Immigrants Using 'Magic Words' to Gain Entry into U.S.
KeelyNet Washington Times reporter Stephen Dinan said Tuesday that illegal immigrants have been coached to use so-called "magic words" when apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents in order to be temporarily released into the country.

Dinan told Melissa Francis that under current federal policy, if an illegal immigrant expresses a "credible fear" of returning to his or her home country, they can gain entry while an asylum request is processed.

Most times the asylum claims are found to be unsubstantiated, but Dinan said that often takes two or three years and by that time, some can "disappear into the shadows." - Illegal Immigrants Using 'Magic Words' to Gain Entry into U.S.

12/10/16 - Seawater battery could replace expensive lithium batteries
Their device is technically a sodium-air, or sodium oxygen, battery. While sodium-air batteries are more cost-effective than lithium-ion batteries, theyre not quite ready for commercial distribution. Part of the goal of the researchers work was to address some of the challenges that stand in the way of commercialization and they may have found an answer in seawater.

It turns out seawater serves as an excellent catholyte a cathode and electrolyte combined together. In a paper published in the ACS journal Applied Materials & Interfaces, the researchers state: A constant flow of seawater into and out of the battery provides the sodium ions and water responsible for producing a charge.

Their seawater battery can be compared against lithium-ion batteries by measuring discharge voltage. The seawater battery had an average discharge voltage of around 2.7 volts, according to ACS, while the same statistic for a lithium ion battery is 3.6 to four volts.

That means the scientists still have work to do, but their device might just bring us closer to a world where we dont need to depend on lithium for energy storage. ACSs journal Applied Materials & Interfaces published the scientists study online in November. - Seawater battery could replace expensive lithium batteries

12/10/16 - Experimental stem cell therapy helps paralyzed man regain use of arms and hands
The 21-year-old who suffered a cervical spine injury in March gains significant improvement in his motor function at Keck Hospital of USC. n March 6, just shy of his 21st birthday, Kristopher (Kris) Boesen of Bakersfield suffered a traumatic injury to his cervical spine when his car fishtailed on a wet road, hit a tree and slammed into a telephone pole.

His parents were warned there was a good chance their son would be permanently paralyzed from the neck down. However, they also learned that he could possibly qualify for a clinical study that might help. Enter the Keck Medical Center of USC, which announced that a team of doctors became the first in California to inject its patient with an experimental treatment made from stem cells as part of a multi-center clinical trial.

Charles Liu, director of the USC Neurorestoration Center, led the surgical team, working in collaboration with the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and Keck Medicine of USC, that injected an experimental dose of 10 million AST-OPC1 cells directly into Boesens cervical spinal cord in early April.

Typically, spinal cord injury patients undergo surgery that stabilizes the spine but generally does very little to restore motor or sensory function, Liu explained. With this study, we are testing a procedure that may improve neurological function, which could mean the difference between being permanently paralyzed and being able to use ones arms and hands. Restoring that level of function could significantly improve the daily lives of patients with severe spinal injuries.

Two weeks after surgery, Boesen began to show signs of improvement. Three months later, hes able to feed himself, use his cellphone, write his name, operate a motorized wheelchair and hug his friends and family. Improved sensation and movement in both arms and hands also makes it easier for him to care for himself, and to envision a life lived more independently. - Experimental stem cell therapy helps paralyzed man regain use of arms and hands

12/10/16 - Ultrasonic Piezo Cavitation Transducer Systems
KeelyNet 42.8 kHz 50W Ultrasonic Piezo Transducer - This is a special Ultrasonic Piezo Transducer. It's special because 42.8 kHz is claimed by many sources, starting with John Keely, as well as Bob Boyce, to be the frequency to dissociate water. I.e. to break the molecular bonds and so possibly use less energy to split apart the water, than the energy it produces when water is created.

Another famous experiment claimed to shoot a column of water in which there was produced a standing wave from 42.8kHz transducer, straight up through the roof, making a clean hole in the ceiling. We haven't verified these claims, and sell these rare transducers for people who want to experiment with this famous frequency.

These transducers are 40mm (1.6") in diameter, and are resonant at 42.8kHz, but will handle about 41.8kHz to 43.8kHz at somewhat reduced power. Sale includes ONE piece, although the picture shows two. We only have a few of these. Here's a quote and a link. Or you can google '42.8khz water':

"Dr. X took periodic readings of his instrumentation and was assured that the standing wave was being maintained. Suddenly, with no warning whatever the water disappeared from the open quartz tube. He looked up thinking to see the water splashed on the ceiling when to his amazement a clean hole went right through the ceiling. The hole was the same size as the inside of the quartz tube."

And make sure it's epoxied or bolted to a vessel filled with water before powering it. If the vessel is empty or transducer is not attached to anything, it can shatter upon powering it. Compare the claims of burning water with the SunCell - From the video; please make this video go viral. i uploaded this video from someone that doesn't call it what it is. so maybe he is too afraid to call it what it really is. you can burn water which means we dont need oil for fuel. this is the first video right now but i will make a video explaining how to get a better burn off this and call this one number 2. subscribe to learn more about free energy. water is a free energy because it costs nothing to use. Stanley Meyers said water is 2.5 times more efficient then gas. which means you will go 2.5 times long with the same amount of fuel/water. i am apart of a ever growing team of people that are here to give back Meyers credit and work to the world. also to get this technology out to everyone before it gets repressed again. no more lies and no more pollution.

KeelyNet A short account of the theorles of G. Lakhovsky with rsults obtained in the treatment of plants, animals and humsn beings. Lakhovsky has been criticised by physicists ignorant of biology and by biologists ignorant of physics. These self-appointed censors of knowledge soon found that were confronted with a redoubtable opponent who fully realised the value of experimental evidence. Its publication resulted in causing annoyance to the custodians of infallible doctrines who made up with carping verbiage what they lacked in clarity of vision.

But Lakhovsky's achievements with his oscillating circuits supported by astonishing photographs of regenerated tissues in plants and human beings could not be exploded by mere verbal fireworks, and as evidence accumulated the sceptism of hostile critics relapsed into a morose silence.

The indisputable fact remains that Lakhovsky was the first experimenter to make use of high frequency electro-magnetic waves in the domain of biology. Thus out of the application of radio-electricity to biology his work develped and gradually established the foundations of the new science of Radiobiology. Download the entire pdf at link above.

The diagram shows where the oscillating circuits should be worn, i.e. round the neck, waist, and above the elbows and knees. The effect is intensified if more than one circuit is worn. Generally speaking, the neck and waist are the favored sites and likeley to bring about the best results. - Waves that Heal - Radiobiology - pdf

12/05/16 - Woman Who Ate Carbs All Day Every Day Drops 100 Lbs. After Eliminating Bread from Her Diet
KeelyNet Guice read about the ketogenic diet on Reddit, and was inspired by a womans photos who had a similar build to her. I was like, I can do that and I can still eat cheese! she says of the diet that entails restricting carbs and eating fats as fuel instead. I had heard about low-carb before and I thought I could never give up bread, but then I started reading about all you can still have. Even though Guice was still able to eat dairy, eliminating carbs meant an extreme overhaul in her current diet.

It was carbs all day every day cereal for breakfast, nachos or a sandwich for lunch, pizza or pasta for dinner, she says of her typical daily diet. I didnt really like vegetables so I rarely ate salad. Bread was the love of my life, and I didnt understand what an appropriate portion was, so I was just eating however much I wanted.

Now Guice gets a very small number of carbs from leafy greens, and sticks to a diet of mainly meat, vegetables and cheese. A standard dinner would be spinach and chicken thighs cooked in butter, so I have the fat, the protein and then the leafy green as my carbs, she says. That was a big change from having pasta with pasta and a side of pasta! Although it was hard to give up her beloved carbs, Guice was motivated to stay on track once she started losing weight.

Seeing the results right away was super motivating, she says. I lost 11 lbs. in the first two weeks. I kept motivated by turning it into a habit. Now it feels weird not to go to the gym or not to log how many carbs Im having. I do it because its what I do.

I really wanted to hit 100 lbs. down so I started an Instagram for more motivation and accountability, she says. I loved looking at other peoples fitness and weight loss accounts on Instagram, and having a community, especially other keto people, to see peoples food, and making friendships has made it a lot more fun. having people to talk to and get feedback from.

On Guices 25th birthday in November, she reached her goal of losing 100 lbs., and says the best part of her weight loss journey has been discovering I had cheekbones. I never thought I had cheekbones! she says. Shopping is a lot more fun too, and being able to have five racks of clothes to choose from instead of a half rack of plus-size clothing has been a big thing.

KeelyNet Texas Woman Who Drank At Least Every Other Day Loses 137 Lbs. After Cutting Out Alcohol and Carbs - Mitchell said she has initially lost weight in her early 20s by following the Atkins diet, but quickly gained it all back when she began reincorporating carbs into her diet. The weight gain left her feeling hopeless. I had completely given up eating healthy and making good choices, and just ate comfort food, like tacos and hamburgers and chicken fried steak really anything without any thought to calories or gaining weight, she says. I just had given up hope. Mitchell was able to give up all of her vices, but admits, It was pretty hard and I was pretty cranky.

She adopted a ketogenic diet, which is based on eating adequate lean protein, low carbs, and fat macros based on your personal needs. Mitchell sticks to a diet of lean meat such as chicken, turkey, tuna and shrimp, green vegetables, healthy fats like avocado, and occasionally treats herself to brisket, bacon and hamburgers without buns. She also works out five days a week doing an hour to an hour and a half of weight lifting with a personal trainer.

Mitchells hard work has paid off. She has lost 137 lbs. over the past year and a half and her whole life has changed for the better. I hated how I looked, I hated looking at spaces and calculating if I had turn to my side, if I could fit through or if I had to go around, if I could fit into a booth, she says. I was not traveling, not going to my daughters events, making my husband go to the grocery store because I didnt want to see anyone I knew. - Woman Who Ate Carbs All Day Every Day Drops 100 Lbs. 12/05/16 - Businessman or Career Politician?
KeelyNet How do you settle a presidential election when the vote is too close to call? With a fishing contest in northern Wisconsin in January, of course!

After the first round of votes were counted, Hillary and Donald were deadlocked. Instead of going through a recount, they agreed to a week-long ice fishing contest to settle the election. Whoever caught the most fish at the end of the week would be the President.

They decided that a remote frozen lake in northern Wisconsin would be the ideal place. No observers were allowed on the fishing grounds, but both would need to have their catches verified and counted each night at 5 pm.

After Day 1, Trump returned with a total of 10 fish. Hillary came back with nothing.

Day 2 finished, and Trump caught another 20 fish, but Hillary once again came back with nothing. That night, Hillary and her cronies got together and accused Trump of being a low-life, cheating, fishist, racist, sexist.

Instead of fishing on Day 3, they planned to follow and spy on him to figure out how he was cheating. Day 3 finished up and Trump had an incredible day, adding 50 fish to his total!

That night, Hillary and her democratic cohorts got together for the full report on how Donald was cheating. Hillary stood up to give her report and said, You are not going to believe this: hes cutting holes in the ice! And this story tells you all you need to know about the difference between a successful businessman and a career government politician. - Businessman or Career Politician?

12/05/16 - Google Earth Timelapse shows us how our planet has changed since 1984
In 2013, Google launched Timelapse a Google Earth project that shows us how the Earth has changed in the last thirty years or so. Now, Google has updated Timelapse with the four past years of imagery it now spans the period from 1984 to 2016 and "petabytes" of new data, which includes new, sharper images.

The imagery gives you quite an amazing view into various processes that change the shape of our planet deforestation, glacial motion, urbanization, war. Google offers a curated selection of interesting locations and events, such as the reconstruction of the Oakland Bay Bridge in San Francisco or the movement of the Hourihan Glacier in Antarctica.

You can, however, point the map to any location in the world and see how it changed over time (though the imagery might not be of the same quality everywhere). Google Earth Timelapse is available at - Google Earth Timelapse shows us how our planet has changed since 1984

12/05/16 - Thanks To 'Fight For $15' Minimum Wage, McDonald's Unveils Job-Replacing Self-Service Kiosks Nationwide
KeelyNet Lets start with automation. In 2013, when the Fight for $15 was still in its growth stage, I and others warned that union demands for a much higher minimum wage would force businesses with small profit margins to replace full-service employees with costly investments in self-service alternatives. At the time, labor groups accused business owners of crying wolf. It turns out the wolf was real.

Earlier this month, McDonalds announced the nationwide roll-out of touchscreen self-service kiosks. In a video the company released to showcase the new customer experience, its striking to see employees who once would have managed a cash register now reduced to monitoring a customers choices at an iPad-style kiosk.

Its not just McDonalds that has embraced job-replacing technology. Numerous restaurant chains (both quick service and full service) have looked to computer tablets as a solution for rising labor costs that won't adversely impact the customers experience. Eatsa, a fully-automated restaurant concept, now has five locationsall in cities or states that have embraced a $15 minimum wage. And in a scene stolen from The Jetsons, the Starship delivery robot is now navigating the streets of San Francisco with groceries and other consumer goods. The companys founder pointed to a rising minimum wage as a key factor driving the growth of his automated delivery business.

Of course, not all businesses have the capital necessary to shift from full-service to self-service. And that brings me to my next correct predictionthat a $15 minimum wage would force many small businesses to lay off staff, seek less-costly locations, or close altogether.

Tragically, these storiesin California in particularare too numerous to cite in detail here. They include a bookstore in Roseville, a pub in Fresno, restaurants and bakeries in San Francisco, a coffee shop in Berkeley, grocery stores in Oakland, a grill in Santa Clara, and apparel manufacturers through the state. In September of this year, nearly one-quarter of restaurant closures in the Bay Area cited labor costs as one of the reasons for shutting down operations. And just this past week, a California-based communications firm announced it was moving 75 call center jobs from San Diego to El Paso, Texas, citing Californias rising minimum as the deciding factor.

Other states are also learning the same basic economic lesson: Customers have a limit to what they will pay for service. Voters in Washington, Colorado, Maine and Arizona voted to raise minimum wages on Election Day, convinced of the policys merits after millions of dollars were spent by union advocates. In the immediate aftermath, family-owned restaurants, coffee shops and even childcare providers have struggled to absorb the coming cost increasewith parents paying the cost through steeper childcare bills, and employees paying the cost through reduced shift hours or none at all.

Email from a friend - Seattle employees ask for REDUCED hours so that "jacked-up" minimum wage won't cost them subsidized housing: Gee, who could have seen this coming?

Now this is downright funny. They scream for a higher minimum wage, then, when they get it they complain because they make too much money to qualify for the free stuff, go figure. By jacking up minimum wage, Seattle has provided a valuable lesson in liberal economics. The plan has now backfired.

Nora Gibson, executive director of Full Life Care, told Seattle 's KIRO 7 TV, she saw a sudden reaction from workers when Seattle 's phased minimum-wage ordinance took effect in April, bringing minimum wage to $11 an hour. She said anecdotally, some people feared they would lose their subsidized housing so they have asked that their work hours be reduced to remain eligible for all government subsidies.

It doesn't stop at $11/hour. The law puts it up to $15 starting January 1, 2017, they will have to reduce their work hours even more to remain eligible for handouts. Good thing the minimum wage wasn't raised even higher, most would not work at all, they prefer to be spoon fed and remain on the government plantation. So now workers work fewer hours, but for the same take home pay, business' labor costs increase so prices increase, buyers (workers) pay more and no one is better off.

Remember free market capitalism? Under that system, the harder and smarter you worked, the higher your standard of living. But that was found to result in income inequality, so now we have a system where wealth is bestowed by bureaucrats, and working harder doesn't always make sense. Just a little bit at a time until America is gone, and turns into the next Argentina... AND YOU WONDER WHY TRUMP WON???!!!! - Thanks To 'Fight For $15' Minimum Wage, McDonald's Unveils Job-Replacing Self-Service Kiosks Nationwide

12/05/16 - Latest Hydrogen Breakthrough Trips Up Trumps Coal Promise
In the latest development, a multinational research team has unlocked one of the mysteries behind plants natural ability to split water. The discovery provides foundational support for efforts to produce renewable hydrogen fuel with low cost, high efficiency water-splitting systems.

Eliminating the Department of Energy has become a favorite theme of Republican office-seekers. The theory seems to be that the private sector will pick up where taxpayer-funded projects leave off.

That may be true in some areas of research, but when you get down to the primary or financial level, market incentives practically evaporate. For example, the Internet as we know it today is the product of a Defense Department research program, for which each taxpaying member of the public can claim some credit. That kind of high-risk, high-reward investment requires a measure of time, human resources and dollars that are difficult if not impossible to assemble in the private sector.

If President-elect Trump can use his powers of persuasion to get private dollars to fill in for this kind of operation, good luck. Coal is here NOW, hydrogen has been in the future for decades and we still don't have it in common use, so keep that in mind when reading this idiotic article. - JWD - Latest Hydrogen Breakthrough Trips Up Trumps Coal Promise

12/05/16 - Nikola One, America's first hydrogen-powered semi, is straight outta the future
With a claimed range of 1,200 miles and massive amounts of emissions-free power, could the Nikola One revolutionize trucking? Dubbed Nikola One, this Tron-like Class-8 rig has 1,000 horsepower and 2,000 pound-feet of torque. Just for comparison's sake, note that the D13 diesel engine from Volvo Trucks is good for anywhere from 375 to 500 horsepower and 1,450 to 1,850 pound-feet of torque. The Nikola One gets the job done with zero emissions. In other words, this could well be a game changer.

The One's hydrogen fuel cell feeds a set of high-density 320-kWh lithium batteries that power the fully electric drivetrain. This concept shown has six electric motors, one powering each axle. Because peak torque is reached the instant a foot touches the throttle, the Nikola One can shoot to 60 miles an hour in 30 seconds, compared to 60 seconds for a traditional diesel rig.

There's more to the One than just the powerplant. Nikola claims the truck will come with your option of one or two full-sized beds, a 40-inch curved 4K TV with Apple TV, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity, as well as a full-size refrigerator, freezer and microwave. I'm not joking when I say the concept is nicer than my house. An added benefit of getting rid of the diesel engine is better visibility. The driver sits farther forward and views the road through a panoramic glass windshield. An assortment of high-definition cameras, radar and sonar can produce a real-time aerial view of the truck and trailer, making blind spots a thing of the past. - Nikola One, America's first hydrogen-powered semi, is straight outta the future

12/05/16 - Africas Gigantic Solar Farm Could Soon Be Powering Europe
The Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex in a Morroccan sun drenched desert spans the distance of 200 football fields. The plant is a part of Morocco's initiative to lessen its dependence on both imported energy and energy generated from non-renewable sources.

India may have the worlds largest solar plant, but Morocco is building a gigantic solar farm that could even power Europe. Dubbed as the Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex (after the city near the place, nicknamed the door to the desert), this gigantic structure covers an area equivalent to about 200 football fields roughly 1,400,000 sq m (15,000,000 sq ft) of desert.

The solar plant sits at the foot of the High Atlas mountains, 10 km (6 miles) away from Ouarzazate, where its exposed to around 330 days of pure sunshine. It has hundreds of mirrors, each about the size of a bus. These reflectors serve to focus energy from the sun onto synthetic oil flowing through a network of pipes. High-pressured water vapor, which powers a generators turbines, is produced using an oil super heated to about 350C (662F).

Its the same classic process used with fossil fuels, except that we are using the Suns heat as the source, says Rachid Bayed of the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (Masen), which is behind the projects implementation. Currently, the first phase of the Ouarzazate project called Noor 1 has exceeded the amount of energy expected to be produced. The plant continues to generate energy even after sunset, where surplus energy is stored in reservoirs of molten salts from sodium and potassium nitrate that can keep production going for three hours. - Africas Gigantic Solar Farm Could Soon Be Powering Europe

KeelyNet BBS Files w/bonus PDF of 'Keely and his Discoveries'
KeelyNet Finally, I've gotten around to compiling all the files (almost 1,000 - about 20MB and lots of work doing it) from the original KeelyNet BBS into a form you can easily navigate and read using your browser, ideally Firefox but it does work with IE. Most of these files are extremely targeted, interesting and informative, I had forgotten just how much but now you can have the complete organized, categorized set, not just sprinklings from around the web. They will keep you reading for weeks if not longer and give you clues and insights into many subjects and new ideas for investigation and research. IN ADDITION, I am including as a bonus gift, the book (in PDF form) that started it all for me, 'Keely and his Discoveries - Aerial Navigation' which includes the analysis of Keely's discoveries by Dr. Daniel G. Brinton. This 407 page eBook alone is worth the price of the KeelyNet BBS CD but it will give you some degree of understanding about what all Keely accomplished which is just now being rediscovered, but of course, without recognizing Keely as the original discoverer. Chapters include; Vibratory Sympathetic and Polar Flows, Vibratory Physics, Latent Force in Interstitial Spaces and much more. To give some idea of how Keely's discoveries are being slowly rediscovered in modern times, check out this Keely History. These two excellent bodies of information will be sent to you on CD. If alternative science intrigues and fascinates you, this CD is what you've been looking for... - More Info

'The Evolution of Matter' and 'The Evolution of Forces' on CD
KeelyNet Years ago, I had been told by several people, that the US government frequently removes books they deem dangerous or 'sensitive' from libraries. Some are replaced with sections removed or rewritten so as to 'contain' information that should not be available to the public despite the authors intent. A key example was during the Manhattan Project when the US was trying to finalize research into atomic bombs. They removed any books that dealt with the subject and two of them were by Dr. Gustave Le Bon since they dealt with both energy and matter including radioactivity. I had been looking for these two books for many years and fortunately stumbled across two copies for which I paid about $40.00 each. I couldn't put down the books once I started reading them. Such a wealth of original discoveries, many not known or remembered today. / Page 88 - Without the ether there could be neither gravity, nor light, nor electricity, nor heat, nor anything, in a word, of which we have knowledge. The universe would be silent and dead, or would reveal itself in a form which we cannot even foresee. If one could construct a glass chamber from which the ether were to be entirely eliminated, heat and light could not pass through it. It would be absolutely dark, and probably gravitation would no longer act on the bodies within it. They would then have lost their weight. / Page 96-97 - A material vortex may be formed by any fluid, liquid or gaseous, turning round an axis, and by the fact of its rotation it describes spirals. The study of these vortices has been the object of important researches by different scholars, notably by Bjerkness and Weyher. They have shown that by them can be produced all the attractions and repulsions recognized in electricity, the deviations of the magnetic needle by currents, etc. These vortices are produced by the rapid rotation of a central rod furnished with pallets, or, more simply, of a sphere. Round this sphere gaseous currents are established, dissymetrical with regard to its equatorial plane, and the result is the attraction or repulsion of bodies brought near to it, according to the position given to them. It is even possible, as Weyher has proved, to compel these bodies to turn round the sphere as do the satellites of a planet without touching it. / Page 149 - "The problem of sending a pencil of parallel Hertzian waves to a distance possesses more than a theoretical interest. It is allowable to say that its solution would change the course of our civilization by rendering war impossible. The first physicist who realizes this discovery will be able to avail himself of the presence of an enemy's ironclads gathered together in a harbour to blow them up in a few minutes, from a distance of several kilometres, simply by directing on them a sheaf of electric radiations. On reaching the metal wires with which these vessels are nowadays honeycombed, this will excite an atmosphere of sparks which will at once explode the shells and torpedoes stored in their holds. With the same reflector, giving a pencil of parallel radiations, it would not be much more difficult to cause the explosion of the stores of powder and shells contained in a fortress, or in the artillery sparks of an army corps, and finally the metal cartridges of the soldiers. Science, which at first rendered wars so deadly, would then at length have rendered them impossible, and the relations between nations would have to be established on new bases." - More Info

14 Ways to Save Money on Fuel Costs
KeelyNetThis eBook is the result of years of research into various methods to increase mileage, reduce pollution and most importantly, reduce overall fuel costs. It starts out with the simplest methods and offers progressively more detailed technologies that have been shown to reduce fuel costs. As a bonus to readers, I have salted the pages with free interesting BONUS items that correlate to the relevant page. Just filling up with one tank of gas using this or other methods explained here will pay for this eBook. Of course, many more methods are out there but I provided only the ones which I think are practical and can be studied by the average person who is looking for a way to immediately reduce their fuel costs. I am currently using two of the easier methods in my own vehicle which normally gets 18-22 mpg and now gets between 28 and 32 mpg depending on driving conditions. A tank of gas for my 1996 Ford Ranger costs about $45.00 here so I am saving around $15-$20 PER TANK, without hurting my engine and with 'greener' emissions due to a cleaner burn! The techniques provided in this ebook begin with simple things you can do NOW to improve your mileage and lower your gas costs. - eBook Download / More Info

The Physics of the Primary State of Matter
KeelyNet The Physics of the Primary State of Matter - published in the 1930s, Karl Schappeller described his Prime Mover, a 10-inch steel sphere with quarter-inch copper tubing coils. These were filled with a material not named specifically, but which is said to have hardened under the influence of direct current and a magnetic field [electro-rheological fluid]. With such polarization, it might be guessed to act like a dielectric capacitor and as a diode... - More Info

    Guidelines for Alternative Science

Alternative science covers a wide range of interests. Generally, it includes gravity control, free energy, electronic healing techniques, all forms of energy conversion, antigravity, levitation, overunity, time travel (as well as slowing down or speeding up local time).

Also clearly covered is the art of power generation (ideally zero point or aether conversion), space travel, physics of matter and energy, sound/acoustics and how it can be used to produce useful phenomena, electric or magnetic forces to produce useful phenomena, various types of motors, vacuum energy, dimensional travel and shifts, medicine, hydrogen generation and how it is used.

It also covers oil/petroleum and how it can be used to produce energy and products, weather control for cancelling earthquakes, tsunamis, fires, floods and to produce rain or clear weather on demand, oxygen/ozone therapy, nitrogen as a motor driver, water generation and manipulation via steam and vacuum, ecological restoration techniques, biophysics, rejuvenation and an unending list of other subjects, most of which are accepted by 'orthodox' science.
